HIV Consumer Advocacy Project

The HIV Consumer Advocacy Project (HCAP) is a unique program in San Francisco that provides assistance to clients in filing a grievance with a service provider that is funded by Ryan White CARE Act Part A or B funds. The HCAP Staff Attorney can assist clients in determining if they are eligible. The Advocacy Project can also help to resolve issues before they become grievances by mediating problems with the client and service provider. Clients in San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo counties are eligible for services.
